Kelly® Engineering has an outstanding contract to hire opportunity for a EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Manager with a growing company in Anaheim, CA. This position offers competitive compensation (up to $52 per hour) along with growth potential within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
This pivotal role not only provides crucial EHS leadership and technical support to the manufacturing sites but also collaborates with leadership teams to drive key Health, Safety, and Environmental strategies.
EHS Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main EHS representative for the Anaheim and Orange manufacturing sites.
- Participate as a member of the site’s leadership team to offer EHS technical support, guidance, and ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement EHS programs, promoting best practices.
- Conduct internal audits of EHS programs to assess compliance and identify necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with government standards such as OSHA and EPA
- Foster relationships with cross functional teams
EHS Manager Requirements:
- Previous EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- BS Degree in a related field; Safety certifications a plus
- Well versed in government standards and California state regulations.
