Join Our Clients Team as an Entry-Level Accountant – $23.68/hr- Temp-Hire
Are you a detail-driven numbers enthusiast looking to grow your career in accounting? Kelly Services is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to support the Procurement and Accounts Payable functions through accurate financial reconciliation, data analysis, and compliance monitoring for a university in Cleveland, OH. If you have a passion for process improvement and at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, this is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team with real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Reconcile accounts, process journal entries, and maintain ledgers with precision
- Review, analyze, and track expenditures to ensure accuracy and budget compliance
- Collaborate with Procurement and AP teams to manage cash flow and vendor payments
- Support internal audits and help maintain strong internal controls
- Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements to financial procedures
- Prepare reports and contribute to monthly and annual close processes
- Assist with financial planning, projections, and cost analysis
- Be a go-to resource for inquiries on payments and the ePayables program
What You Bring
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential data with professionalism
- A proactive mindset with a collaborative spirit
