Job Duration: 5+ Month
Shift: 2nd Shift, Starts at 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

Job Description:

  • Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection

  • Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection.

  • Perform inspection of purged product as requested.

  • Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.

  • Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required

  • Perform first article inspections to support the component/part qualification

  • Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.

  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.

  • Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.

  • Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems.

Required Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment

  • 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment

  • 2+ years experience each in PCBA inspection and Cable Inspection

  • IPC-A-610 certification or previously certified

  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in aerospace/defense industry

  • Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • IPC-A-620 certification or previously certified

  • Certification in J-STD, IPC-7711/7721 or previously certified

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision or Guidance on daily work

  • Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus.
