Job Duration: 5+ Month
Shift: 2nd Shift, Starts at 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Job Description:
- Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection
- Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection.
- Perform inspection of purged product as requested.
- Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.
- Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required
- Perform first article inspections to support the component/part qualification
- Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
- Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.
- Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.
- Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems.
Required Qualification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment
- 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
- 2+ years experience each in PCBA inspection and Cable Inspection
- IPC-A-610 certification or previously certified
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in aerospace/defense industry
- Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- IPC-A-620 certification or previously certified
- Certification in J-STD, IPC-7711/7721 or previously certified
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision or Guidance on daily work
- Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus.
