Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a qualified, Board-Certified Radiologist to join the Kelly team for a full-time role with the VA in Memphis, TN. 

Position Overview:

•    Provide evaluation and treatment for inpatient and outpatient veteran cancer patients in Memphis, TN.
•    Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
•    Perform prostate seed implants if applicable.
Responsibilities:
•    Develop treatment plans and manage ongoing patient care with follow-up evaluations.
•    Utilize advanced modalities such as IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Radiotherapy.
•    Conduct comprehensive pretreatment evaluations including reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and documenting consultations.
•    Craft goal-oriented radiation treatment plans, adjust as necessary, and document in CPRS.
•    Conduct regular patient examinations, monitor treatment progress, and manage side effects.
•    Instruct patients regarding risks and proper care, ensuring informed consent prior to treatment.
•    Conduct follow-up evaluations post-treatment series within 30 to 60 days.
•    Participate in weekly peer review conferences to discuss treatment appropriateness and goals.
•    Ensure thorough documentation of patient care in CPRS, following VA guidelines and regulations.
•    Communicate test results effectively, adhering to VHA Directive 1088 protocols.
•    Education and supervision of health professions trainees.

Required Experience:
•    3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT).
•    Three years of experience in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).
•    Minimum 10 documented cases in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) within the last two years.
•    Minimum 10 documented cases in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) within the last two years.
•    Three years of experience with Eclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record & verify system, covering 2D/3D Conformal, SRS, SRT, SBRT, and IMRT/VMAT (adhering to TG-53 standards).

Qualifications:
•    MD/DO degree.
•    Graduate from Radiation Oncology Residency.
•    Board Certification in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience, excluding residency.
