Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Taunton, MA
Schedule Options:
-
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:45 PM – 8:00 AM
- Compensation: Starting at $20+/hour (Candidates with proven industry experience may be considered for a higher pay range, up to the low $30s/hour)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production quality and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will be experienced in manufacturing environments and possess strong leadership and quality assurance skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and inspect production lines to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications

Supervise and assist production staff in conjunction with the Production Floor Supervisor
-
Conduct quality control testing and make real-time adjustments during shift operations
-
Ensure accuracy and completion of shift documentation including production run sheets, quality records, packaging requests, etc.

Communicate shift progress and issues with other lead operators and supervisors

Assist with workstation assignments, shift rotations, breaks, and on-the-job training

Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and basic maintenance

Ensure compliance with SOPs and use of appropriate PPE

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Support GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and compliance efforts
-
Provide coverage for manufacturing or warehouse roles as needed
Additional Responsibilities:

Train new and existing employees on quality procedures and expectations

Support extrusion of plastic tubing and related manufacturing operations
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control role
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
-
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, documentation, and quality testing
-
Manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery and computer systems
-
Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in extrusion manufacturing
-
Process improvement and troubleshooting
-
Bilingual skills a plus (if applicable)
