Job details
Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Conyers, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!
Salary:
- $60,000 – $74,000 (depending on experience)
Shift:
- 1st shift: Mon-Fri | 6:00am – 2:30pm

What You’ll Do
- Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, tools, vehicles, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on equipment, powered industrial trucks, hoists, and vehicles.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
- Operate hand tools, including electric and pneumatic tools, safely and effectively.
- Conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs (wiring, switches, mechanical components).
- Perform basic fabrication and assembly using welding, plumbing, and electrical skills.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance on machines and facility infrastructure.
- Move, lift, and stage parts and equipment using forklifts and overhead hoists.
- Maintain accurate electronic records including maintenance logs, checklists, and material tracking.
- Support a clean and organized workspace by following 5S and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role
- Basic math skills and intermediate reading comprehension
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Skilled in safe operation of tools, equipment, and industrial trucks
- Able to read technical diagrams and use measuring instruments
- Experience with basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain industrial truck certifications
