Job Title: Warehouse Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Rincon, GA
Salary: $27/hour
Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and be a driving force in our operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our facilities run smoothly with your expertise in maintenance and repair. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to both operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service records
- Perform general repairs such as painting and plastering
- Collaborate with contractors and manage emergency calls
- Estimate material needs and procure them efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience as a maintenance technician, with a forklift certification
- Skills in light electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and cleaning
- Welding and metal cutting certification (a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of building mechanics and construction
- Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic equipment and PLC logic
- CPR and First Aid knowledge, computer proficiency
Working Conditions:
- Indoor/outdoor work in a warehouse environment
- Exposure to seasonal weather conditions
- Physical demands include walking, lifting, and standing
