Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: San Carlos, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00/HR
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in San Carlos. This is a full-time, onsite position with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have experience using QuickBooks or Acctivate.
Responsibilities:
- Handle invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
- Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support month-end closing and reporting
- Communicate with customers about billing and payments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed, including helping with general inventory management duties.
Requirements:
- Prior A/R or accounting experience is required
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or Acctivate preferred
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Great attention to detail and time management
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and able to work independently
