Temporary Materials Associate

Location: Comstock Park, MI
Pay: $18.00 per hour, Full-Time (Monday-Friday) with some overtime available


Position Overview:
Join our team as a Temporary Materials Handling Associate! This temporary role lasts through the fall, providing an opportunity for full-time placement based on performance, reliability, and company needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility yard through consistent maintenance and cleaning.

  • Order Preparation: Collaborate with full-time staff to prepare, band, and wrap orders using pick sheets and WMS system.

  • Material Handling Support: Accurately and efficiently gather and package orders.

  • Safety Practices: Regularly participate in safety protocols, maintaining strong spatial awareness.

  • Safety Promotion: Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of steel-toed boots and operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of reliable work performance and a strong work ethic.

  • Flexibility to work varying shift lengths and mandatory overtime if needed.

  • Steel-toed boots are a requirement from day one.

  • Commitment to safety and good spatial awareness.
