Warehouse Clerk needed in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
$22/hr
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Filing:

  • Accurately input data into computer systems, including inventory records, shipping orders, and invoices.

  • Maintain and update warehouse documentation, including shipping logs, receiving reports, and other relevant records.

  • File and organize documents according to established procedures.


  • Order Processing & Shipping:

  • Assist with order processing, including verifying customer orders, preparing shipping labels, and generating invoices.

  • Process shipping requests and coordinate with carriers for pick-up and delivery.

  • Track shipments and communicate with customers regarding order status.


  • Inventory Management:

  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock audits, cycle counts, and data entry.

  • Prepare reports on inventory levels and discrepancies.


  • Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including warehouse staff and customers.

  • Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.


  • General Office Duties:

  • Answer phones and emails, and direct calls as needed.

  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Follow the company policy and instructions from Supervisor/Manager.



    Qualifications:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Prior experience in a warehouse or office environment is preferred.

    • Ability to work in Warehouse Work Environment – may be subject to noise, heat, cold, chemical smell, dust, and other similar conditions.
