Job Details:
- Position: Warehouse Associate (Material Handler)
- Duration: Temporary, approximately 3 to 4 months could be temp to hire
- Work Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM
- Pay is $16.00 an hour
Essential Duties:
- Assist with packaging, warehousing, and distribution.
- Receive, stock, and repack products.
- Clean totes while working in the Dock area
- Perform tank readings and manage customer pick-ups and shipments.
- Load, fill, label, and place containers on pallets.
- Manage delivery schedules and secure products in trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Basic math skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read road maps.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience or training within the warehouse environment is a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Some facilities may require a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and communicate effectively.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Work Environment:
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and climbing , reaching using both upper and lower extremities, for extended periods, lifting up to 40lbs,
This role seems suited for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and can manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
