Administrative Assistant – Production
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: $20-$24 DOE
Schedule: Mon-Friday 7:45AM-4:15PM
Job Summary:
Provides administrative support for the production unit, ensuring accurate documentation, material verification, and database maintenance. Handles reporting, clerical tasks, and discrepancy investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify production documentation, material counts, and return components.
- Maintain and update production databases and reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and report findings.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and report generation.
- Assist and train production staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, databases).
- Knowledge of Pivot Tables is a MUST!
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move between departments.
- Lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Use office equipment and perform data entry.
