Location: Charlotte, NC 28273
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
We currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations team in Charlotte, NC. This role plays a vital part in the efficient handling and movement of materials throughout the facility. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, forklift operation, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to safely load/unload trucks and move inventory within the facility

Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments

Pick, stage, and prepare orders accurately for outbound delivery

Support inventory management, including stock rotation and bi-monthly inventory counts

Maintain clean work areas by disposing of empty pallets, shrink wrap, and other debris

Assist with documentation for shipping and update inventory records as needed

Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

Collaborate with Warehouse and Dispatch Managers to complete daily tasks and special projects
Job Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred

Ability to lift and move materials, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods

Must wear steel toe shoes and follow all PPE and safety regulations

Adherence to company dress code: jeans (no holes) and appropriate shirts (no offensive graphics or language)
