Job Title: Cherry Picker / High Reach Truck Operator
Location: Rural Hall, NC 27045
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Overtime available until 12:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Cherry Picker Operators to join our warehouse team in Rural Hall, NC. This position is critical in supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials using powered industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and stage orders accurately based on customer or production needs
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report mechanical concerns
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Use RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to document inventory movement
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support additional warehouse tasks including packing, receiving, and shipping as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, or high reach equipment
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working at heights (for cherry picker/high reach roles)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Familiarity with RF scanners and WMS systems is a plus
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- Exposure to warehouse elements such as dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required
