Location: Frankfort IL
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22/hour
Type: Temp to Hire
Reports to: Plant Supervisor
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to join a fast-paced manufacturing team? We’re looking for a Rewind Slitter to help cut and package large rolls of finished product into smaller ones for customers and inventory.
What You’ll Do:
- Load and unload large rolls onto the slitting machine
- Set up and run the machine to meet order specs
- Check product quality and measure accuracy
- Package, label, and move finished rolls to the right location
- Follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE
What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Comfortable with machines and basic computer use
- Good attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to do basic math and follow written or visual instructions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Work Environment:
- Plant setting with loud machinery
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
- Some exposure to chemicals
