Overview:
Kelly Science & Clinical is partnering with a leading client in the food and dietary supplement industry to hire a Microbiologist with 2–3 years of experience in a regulated lab environment. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about microbiology, product safety, and quality assurance in consumable goods. Position Summary:
As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for routine microbial testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Testing includes but is not limited to yeast, mold, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and total plate count.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform microbial assays to detect contamination in food and dietary supplement products.


  • Prepare and qualify microbiological media according to established protocols.


  • Document test results accurately and maintain comprehensive lab records.


  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.


  • Follow aseptic techniques and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related life science discipline.


  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a microbiology lab within the food, beverage, or dietary supplement industry.


  • Proficiency in microbial testing techniques and aseptic lab practices.


  • Knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory requirements.


  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
