Kelly Science & Clinical is partnering with a leading client in the food and dietary supplement industry to hire a Microbiologist with 2–3 years of experience in a regulated lab environment. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about microbiology, product safety, and quality assurance in consumable goods. Position Summary:
As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for routine microbial testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Testing includes but is not limited to yeast, mold, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and total plate count.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbial assays to detect contamination in food and dietary supplement products.

Prepare and qualify microbiological media according to established protocols.

Document test results accurately and maintain comprehensive lab records.

Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Follow aseptic techniques and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related life science discipline.

2–3 years of hands-on experience in a microbiology lab within the food, beverage, or dietary supplement industry.

Proficiency in microbial testing techniques and aseptic lab practices.

Knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
