Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at GBC Food Services as a Prepared Foods Associate! Located within grocery stores and other host locations, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality prepared foods and exceptional service to our valued customers. This hourly position is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about food safety and customer satisfaction. Your contributions will directly support our franchisees and uphold our commitment to excellence, cleanliness, and quality.
Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Hourly
– Location: Franchise Outlets
– Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
– Shift: Flexible, including weekends and holidays 6:00 am start
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Prepare, package, label, and stage food items in accordance with brand and safety standards.
– Set up, stock, and maintain displays and workstations with necessary supplies.
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, utensils, and equipment.
– Follow all ServSafe and company food handling policies and procedures.
– Rotate inventory, check expiration dates, and manage waste to minimize loss.
– Perform opening and closing tasks, including temperature logs and prep lists.
– Communicate any issues related to operations, equipment, or supply needs to management.
– Support promotional initiatives and suggestive selling to boost kiosk performance.
– Participate in ongoing training and compliance programs as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Prior experience in food service or retail is a plus.
– Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
– Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
– Able to operate basic kitchen and point-of-sale equipment.
