Etching Technician (Etcher)
Location: Plymouth, MA
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $18+/hour (higher depending on experience)

Our client is an employee-owned company specializing in the manufacture of precision-engineered components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Etching Technician to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate chemical etching tanks and equipment to process metal parts to precise specifications

  
  

• Follow job travelers and written work instructions for each production order

  
  

• Use calipers, rulers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and ensure quality standards

  
  

• Accurately record production data and measurements

  
  

• Report any material or quality concerns to the production lead

  
  

• Monitor chemical bath conditions and assist with routine maintenance

  
  

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols

  
  

• Work independently to complete daily tasks and meet production schedules

  
  

• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly output goals

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred, but not required

  
  

• Ability to read and follow basic instructions and use standard measuring tools

  
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  
  

• Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required PPE

  
  

• Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently

  
  

• Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach
