Location: Plymouth, MA
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $18+/hour (higher depending on experience)

Our client is an employee-owned company specializing in the manufacture of precision-engineered components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Etching Technician to join our production team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate chemical etching tanks and equipment to process metal parts to precise specifications

Follow job travelers and written work instructions for each production order

Use calipers, rulers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and ensure quality standards

Accurately record production data and measurements

Report any material or quality concerns to the production lead

Monitor chemical bath conditions and assist with routine maintenance

Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols

Work independently to complete daily tasks and meet production schedules

Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly output goals
Qualifications
-
Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred, but not required

Ability to read and follow basic instructions and use standard measuring tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required PPE
-
Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
