Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Gordonsville, VA
- Pay Rate: 16.50/hr
- THIRD SHIFT: 9PM-5AM
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in the number and type of items.
– Properly label cartons for system scanning.
– Select appropriate carton sizes for shipping.
– Utilize portable scanning devices and Pick-To-Voice systems for order confirmation.
– Record adjustments for short shipments on cartons.
– Conduct visual inspections of books prior to packing.
– Place books in cartons securely to prevent damage during transit.
– Perform cycle counts as directed to maintain inventory accuracy.
– Walk significant distances daily while picking orders.
– Maintain quality control reports to monitor picking accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
– Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
– Comfortable walking, standing, bending
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
