Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant I will provide essential support to ensure the efficient operation of the office during the evening hours. This role includes managing driver settlements, handling paperwork, and assisting drivers as they return. The position is scheduled from Tuesday to Friday, starting at either 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM, and ending at 7:00 PM or until the last driver has been settled, adhering to seasonal curfew requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the settlement process for drivers, ensuring all routes are balanced in EO Star.
- Wipe down and store all handheld devices and charge cell phones and printers as necessary.
- Complete A/R bags for miscellaneous payments, including bad EFT payments and brewery representative shortages.
- Prepare the necessary paperwork for the driver checkout process.
- Collect driver invoices and bay sheets.
- Assist drivers as they arrive at the facility during evening hours.
- Process EFT hotshot payments.
- Assist with additional office assignments as delegated by the Office Manager.
- Be prepared to fill in at the front desk during absences or vacations, which may require working extra hours.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday, starting at either 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM, and ending at 7:00 PM or until the last driver has settled.
Compensation:
- Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with an increase after 90 days.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in office software and data entry systems.
