Kelly Services is now hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join a leading provider of direct mail marketing solutions—helping deliver high-impact campaigns that get results.
Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 an hour DOE
Shift: Flexible Schedule
What is a typical day as a Inventory Control Specialist?

Monitor actual job costs versus estimates, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions

Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness

Oversee inventory management processes including tracking, ordering, and reconciliation.

Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce waste.

Provide timely financial and operational reports to management, highlighting trends and improvement areas
-
Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and usage patterns
-
Assist in developing pricing strategies for accurate and competitive job pricing

Support continuous improvement initiatives in job costing and inventory workflow.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in job costing, inventory management, or related financial/operational roles.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and job costing/inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
