Document Control Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a Document Control Specialist to support quality and engineering departments by managing controlled documentation through both paper-based and electronic systems.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, store, and distribute quality system documentation using both traditional and digital methods.
- Manage Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/ECO) in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineering Operating Procedures (EOPs).
- Maintain controlled documentation in physical storage systems (e.g., file cabinets, Remstar) and in electronic vaults on PC and CAD networks.
- Input data into the ECN/ECO database, track change order status, and generate distribution reports for use by document control, engineering teams, and management.
- Review and modify entries to control shipping based on hold/release forms.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in the document management system to ensure accurate availability and visibility of documents.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 20–25 lbs
