What’s a typical day as a Fish ID Technician? You’ll be:
• Performing routine Fish ID duties under close supervision, including coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, and body tagging.
• Assisting the Lead and hatchery staff with quality inspections, trailer setup, and transferring fish from ponds or net pens.
• Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of trailers, work areas, restrooms, and breakrooms used by employees.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures closely.
• Are comfortable working in a team environment and assisting with various tasks as required.
• Are willing to undergo training and learn new skills related to fish identification and handling.
