Facilities Space Planner – AutoCAD & Layout Design
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site)
Pay: $35/hr.-$40/hr.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Typical Business Hours
Employment Type: Contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs

Kelly Engineering is partnering with a well-known medical device manufacturer in the bay area. They’re expanding and need someone on the ground who can take ownership of space planning across critical lab and office areas. This is hands-on, high-impact work where you’ll see the difference you’re making every single day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Updating and managing CAFM models
- Making on-the-spot layout changes for labs and office spaces
- Planning room setups that include furniture, equipment, telecom, and electrical
- Partnering with stakeholders to assess future space needs and drive smart solutions
- Supporting admin needs like records management and data entry for global teams
What I’m Looking For:
- 5+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience
- 5+ years in space planning or facilities layout
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working on-site, navigating cross-functional teams, and thinking on your feet
- Expert level experience with MS Office and excellent communication skills
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in manufacturing or lab environments
- Familiarity with OfficeSpace or similar CAFM tools
- A background in Architecture or Interior Design
- Administrative, accounting, or data entry experience
