Kelly has partnered with our client in the Natural Gas Distribution industry to recruit for an Assistant Locates in Dresden.

Job ID: 26260
Job Title: Assistant Locates III
Duration: Jun. 23/25 to Jun. 22/26
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours
Pay Rate: $25.71/hour   
Locations: Hybrid (Mon, Tues, Thurs in-office)  Dresden Ontario ON, N0P 1M0

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utility Locate Requests: Handle requests to find STO Plant Assets by analyzing details, assigning tasks, and completing the process.

  • Scheduling: Organize schedules for utility locates, site visits, and third-party observations by collaborating with different STO departments.

  • Coordination: Take action based on reports from aerial inspections.

  • Assistance: Support the manager with assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Skills: Familiar with software like GIS, Excel, Word, Google Earth, SAP, Utilisphere, and others.

  • Decision-Making: Able to work independently and make informed decisions.

  • Communication: Excellent skills in dealing with challenging situations and people.

  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Organization: Detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Map Reading: Capable of reading maps and comparing them to aerial images and documents.
