Dispatcher Needed in Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Pooler, GA
Join our vibrant team as an experienced Dispatcher in Pooler, GA! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating freight movement in and out of the port, as well as across Savannah and its metro areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly manage freight logistics with outstanding communication skills.
- Facilitate clear communication among customers, drivers, and colleagues.
- Ensure precision in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle emails, Excel reports, and various data entry platforms efficiently.
- Adapt swiftly to the dynamic needs of customers and operations.
- Foster the positive culture of our company.
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience with GPA/Navis is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, email, and Internet usage.
- Punctual, stress-resilient, and capable of meeting deadlines with accuracy.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Outstanding critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Responsible team player providing excellent customer service.
- Availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
- High School Diploma required; college education preferred.
