Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Drug Product Manufacturing Associate for a contract-to-hire position at a cutting-edge client in Carlsbad, CA. Pay: $31.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day Flexible start time between 7:00 am – 9:00 am.
Overview
This client is an industry-leading company that’s leading the way in contract manufacturing for the biopharmaceutical and molecular diagnostics industries.
In this role, you will perform tasks and operations relevant to the bulk formulation and/or filling operations required for sterile production of liquid injectable pharmaceutical products under cGMP regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine manufacturing tasks under internal SOPs and cGMP guidelines
- Prepare material components for manufacturing operations
- Document steps clearly and completely in production batch records, logbooks, and other controlled forms
- Participate in inspection readiness activities
- Maintain cleanliness of areas and equipment
- Assist in bulk drug formulation using lab equipment (mixers, balances, pH meters, etc.) under Class C (ISO 7) conditions
- Assist in sterile filtration and sterile filling using automated machinery under Class C (ISO 7) conditions
- Collect and dispose of lab wastes according to procedures
- Collaborate in continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in an Engineering discipline or Life Science field or a High school diploma or equivalent with 1 – 2 years relevant experience is required,
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and sterile processing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and algebraic computations
