Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Chemist (Monday-Thursday, PM Shift) for a contract-to-hire (temp-to-perm) opportunity with one of our industry partners in the Twin Cities area.

Quality Control (QC) Technician – QC Chemist I
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Starting Salary: $26-29/hour

Overview:
The QC Chemist I will play a key role in ensuring accurate, reproducible, and timely quality control testing in support of in-process manufacturing, product release, and stability studies. This position also involves supporting method development and validation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing on in-process materials, final products, and raw materials for routine, validation, and stability purposes

  • Document results clearly in batch records and laboratory reports

  • Analyze and trend data using statistical methods

  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshoot issues

  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions and method deviations

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory

  • Support and participate in method optimization and improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related life science

  • 1+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment

  • Local to the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul region and able to work on-site in Chaska, MN four days per week.

  • Basic understanding of chemical techniques and laboratory methodologies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
