Schedule: 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm / Mon-Fri
Weekend shift: Fri-Mon 5:30am-3:30pm / Train on 1st shift 7am-3pm
Employment Type: Full-time $18 to start (Temp-Perm) $22/hr after conversion
Job Overview:
We are hiring dependable and motivated Order Selectors to join our cold storage warehouse team in Mountville, PA. This role is essential in accurately selecting, scanning, and preparing products for shipment in a freezer environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions and capable of meeting productivity standards in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and stage products based on order sheets or RF scanner instructions.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely to transport pallets to loading areas.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to locate, verify, and track inventory.
- Maintain correct product stacking, shrink-wrap completed pallets, and prepare them for shipment.
- Perform safety checks and follow all warehouse safety protocols and cold-storage PPE guidelines.
- Communicate with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, labeling, and restocking when needed.
- Meet productivity goals while minimizing product damage and ensuring quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; at least 1 year of warehouse or order selecting experience is a plus.
- Able to work independently and follow verbal or written instructions.
- Comfortable working in cold or sub-zero environments for extended periods.
- Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
- Familiar with warehouse layouts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks (training available).
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Comfortable working in freezer environments with proper PPE.
- Capable of repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced setting.
