Job Description: Packaging Equipment Operator
Location: Lodi, CA
Payrate: 1st shift ( 6AM-6PM) $22/HR
Graveyard: $23/HR(6PM-6AM)
Position: Temporary
Position Overview:
Under moderate supervision, the Packaging Equipment Operator is responsible for performing basic operations and minimal troubleshooting on various packaging equipment, including but not limited to Helix, case packer, cap applicator, and automatic wrapper. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the production line to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and Maintenance:
- Safely operate all pieces of equipment on the production line.
- Load correct packaging materials into machinery.
- Perform minimal troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment under moderate supervision.
- Strong understanding of food safety compliance and general housekeeping standards.
- Proven ability to perform quality control measures and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must show initiative and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
