Picker (General Warehouse)
Shifts are – A (5:30-3:30 Monday – Thursday), B (4 pm-2am Monday- Thursday), C (5:30am-5:30 pm Friday-Sunday)
Summary
The Picker/Packer/Lumper will perform all tasks associated with the proper operation of Pick-to-Light and other similarly operated zones such as 50/60, Zone 03, the Pack area and the Receiving dock.
Key Responsibilities
¿ Receive and make labels and boxes based on zone and priority
Determine and build packaging based on product size
Use RF scanners to determine location of box contents
Verify product number to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) label
Use basic mathematics to determine the appropriate number of picks
Order additional product from other locations when stock is low
Move boxes to additional zones when complete
Unloading product from floor loaded/pallet loaded trailers
Move and lift up to 50 lbs of product as needed
Follow safety regulations
Skill Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous distribution or warehouse experience
