Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a key part of a world-class production team? We’re looking for a Material Coordinator to support operations at John Deere, one of the most trusted names in manufacturing.
- Location: Waterloo, IA
- Schedule: 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Overtime: 2 hours per shift
- Work Days: Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays
- Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
- Assignment Length: 36 Months (W2 through KellyOCG)
- Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate material flow to the production line
- Trigger Kanbans and manage inventory movement
- Use SAP and other systems to ensure material accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain)
- Conduct real-time part counts and address material shortages
- Support process improvement and change management initiative
What we’re looking for:
- Must-Haves:
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Great attention to detail and ability to work on the production floor
- Strong team player in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Inventory management experience
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
- Experience performing audits or implementing process improvements
