Location: Beaumont, TX
Pay: $16–$20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Employment Type: Temporary
Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support department operations. This temporary role offers a steady weekday schedule and the opportunity to work in a professional campus setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide administrative support to the Department Chair, Program Directors, and faculty
-
Coordinate schedules, maintain office supplies, and assist with classroom assignments

Handle communications, document preparation, and data entry
-
Organize and support meetings and department events
-
Supervise student assistants and oversee routine office functions
-
Maintain departmental records, filing systems, and accreditation documentation

Assist with budget tracking, supply ordering, and time-sensitive department tasks
Why You’d Be a Good Fit:

At least 2 years of professional administrative experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable working independently and handling multiple priorities

Proficient with MS Office and standard office technology

Prior experience in a university or school setting preferred
