Forklift Operator Position Available in Pooler, GA
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Pooler, GA. This role involves essential duties and responsibilities that ensure efficient operations within our storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods from containers and trailers
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates throughout the storage facility
- Stack goods in the correct storage area, following inventory control instructions
- Ensure loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging equipment or changing propane tanks
- Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Qualifications:
- Proficient in math, language, and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail to prevent injury and maintain a safe work environment
- Ability to follow instructions for equipment operation and record-keeping
- Ability to execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards; 1+ years of experience preferred
