Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description:
Location: Saint Louis
Pay rate: $22/hr
The Inventory Specialist ensures accurate inventory management in the raw material warehouse, verifying weigh-up batches and labeling items with Roha part numbers. Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, managing packaging materials, creating and confirming SAP log sheets, and completing production tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and GMPs is essential, alongside performing cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary work environment. The role involves improving processes, handling inventory transactions, operating a stand-up forklift, and performing duties assigned by management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in a production environment, preferably in the chemical or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
- Basic math skills and problem-solving ability.
Work Conditions:
- Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 500 pounds, and using tools requiring dexterity.
- Requires various vision capabilities and comfort with independent work.
- Fast-paced, adaptable environment with temperatures from 20°F to 115°F.
