Payrate: $27.00 per hour
Location: Mahwah, NJ – Hybrid
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

What’s a typical day as Purchasing Administration Specialist? You’ll be:
– Supporting the initiatives of the Purchasing department through tactical purchasing functions and reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
– Contributing to the development of purchasing and strategic plans while participating in process improvement initiatives.
– Serving as a subject matter expert in purchasing functions and assisting team members to meet customer needs effectively.
– Analyzing purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
– Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
– Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports and documentation for internal and external audits.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and large ERP platforms (Oracle/SAP).
– Have strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service and analytical abilities.
– Are adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and possess strong negotiation skills.
