Injection Molding Process Engineer (Direct Hire)
- Support mold trials and help transition new tooling and models into production.
- Investigate and resolve scrap, cycle time, and process variability issues.
- Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.
- Assist with tooling reviews and design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.
- Identify and implement process changes that drive down cost and improve part quality
- Oversee new tool start-up and qualification Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and operations as well as support the introduction of new molds, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (plastics) is preferred but not required.
- RJG Mold Master and/or Paulson Pro Molder certifications are preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of plastic injection molding engineering experience
