Quality Shipping Administrator
Location: 295 Indian River Road Orange, CT 06477
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Job Type: Contract (Minimum of 6 weeks; evaluation for permanency)
Shift: 8AM-4PM
Summary:
Saint-Gobain is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Quality Shipping Administrator to ensure that all outgoing shipments meet strict quality standards. This role bridges quality assurance and shipping logistics and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in quality control within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-shipment quality inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and labeling requirements.

Review and validate customer contracts and shipment documentation.

Investigate and coordinate resolutions to any quality issues encountered during the shipping process.

Maintain and file inspection records, certifications, and non-conformance documentation accurately.

Assist customers with shipping status inquiries and resolve concerns related to product quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Customer Service, and Production.

Use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to manage shipping and quality data.

Support other areas of production and quality control when necessary.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

2–4 years of Quality Inspection experience (Strongly Preferred)

Strong attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Experience with ERP systems (Preferred)

Understanding of quality assurance processes
