From Entry-Level Assemblers to Field Service Technicians
We’re hiring Entry-Level Assemblers on behalf of a leading packaging equipment company in Eastlake. After six months, this role can lead to becoming Field Service Technicians through an intensive, hands-on apprenticeship. You’ll learn to build, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment—then become a part of their service team.
$18.00 – $23.00 Per Hour
Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate mechanical parts using basic hand tools, power tools, and your future-famous problem-solving skills.
- Read blueprints and spec sheets like a pro (or learn how until you are one).
- Perform quality checks that would make your high school shop teacher proud.
- Learn how to safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other heavy equipment (we’ll certify you).
- Keep your workspace and tools organized and safe—neat freaks welcome.
- Learn how to bead blast, power wash, and paint booths.
- Train on becoming a Field Service Technician
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 75 lbs. with a team lift; must be comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and blueprint-reading skills
