Job Opportunity: Electrician – Industrial Process Support
We are looking for a resourceful electrician to provide pivotal electrical and electronic support within our operational framework. The role involves collaboration with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment integral to industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize expertise in PLCs, industrial instrumentation, pumps, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
- Installation & Start-ups: Engage in the installation of new equipment and facilitate start-up procedures.
- Documentation: Collaborate with the engineering team to produce precise technical documentation.
- Diagram Interpretation: Accurately read piping, instrumentation drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Specification Knowledge: Determine and specify appropriate wiring, conduits, and electrical components.
- Training & Development: Assist in creating manuals, distilling information, and training junior electricians.
- Safety & Compliance: Advocate for safe operational practices and contribute to EHS program upkeep.
- Team Guidance: Advise colleagues on best practices for handling electrical equipment safely.
- Additional Duties: Capable of taking on other responsibilities as necessary.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Instrumentation Acumen: Deep knowledge of industrial instruments and adept at calibrating and configuring devices.
- PLC Skills: Proficient in PLC programming and various electrical software platforms.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal ability to interact with a diverse audience and drive team compliance.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Detail Orientation: Committed to achieving precise results.
- Multi-tasking Ability: Efficient in handling multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
