Job Title: Assembly Specialist (2-Month Contract – July & August)
Location: Norwood, MA
Type: Contingent/Temporary
Duration: 2 Months (July–August)
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20+ per hour (higher depending on experience)
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Specialist to join our team on a short-term basis. This 2-month contract position supports our production team with assembling small wire harnesses and cable assemblies. Candidates with prior experience in cable or wire harness assembly are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble a variety of small wire harnesses and cable assemblies following detailed instructions

Cut and crimp cables using hand tools
-
Perform minor soldering operations as needed

Apply identification labels to cables accurately

Conduct inspection and basic testing of cable assemblies to ensure quality standards

Assist with general support tasks within the production area as required
Qualifications:

Previous experience with cable or wire harness assembly preferred

Familiarity with hand tools and basic soldering techniques

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment

Training will be provided, but prior relevant experience is highly valued
