Assembly Worker (Optical Manufacturing)

This is a DIRECT HIRE position, working with a leading optical manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality eyewear and optical components. 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Light Assembly Worker to join our team in Henrietta, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of optical components, with a focus on metal frame soldering. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and proficiency in soldering techniques.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform light assembly of optical components according to established procedures and quality standards.

  • Solder metal frames with precision and accuracy.

  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous manufacturing experience required.

  • Proven soldering experience is essential, specifically with metal frames preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable and punctual.
