Assembly Worker (Optical Manufacturing)
This is a DIRECT HIRE position, working with a leading optical manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality eyewear and optical components.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Light Assembly Worker to join our team in Henrietta, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of optical components, with a focus on metal frame soldering. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and proficiency in soldering techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light assembly of optical components according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Solder metal frames with precision and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience required.
- Proven soldering experience is essential, specifically with metal frames preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
