Job details

Objective:
The Document Control/Data Tech will manage and organize documentation and technical data within the chemical plant, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and efficiency protocols. This role is essential to maintaining accurate and accessible records to support operational excellence. This position is for a Turnaround project working 12 hour shifts. A TWIC card is required. 

Responsibilities:

Document Management:

  • Organize, maintain, and update all safety manuals, operational protocols, and technical data sheets.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze production data to support operational decisions.

  • Prepare regular reports on plant performance metrics, productivity, and efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Control:

  • Ensure all documentation meets environmental and safety regulations.

  • Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and support quality assurance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a plant environment and requires adherence to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

This role is integral to ensuring the plant operates efficiently, while maintaining high safety and regulatory standards through meticulous documentation and data management.
