Job Title: Forklift Operator – Stand-Up & Sit-Down
Location: Bessemer City, NC 28016
Employment Type: Full-Time – Immediate Hire
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators with both stand-up and sit-down forklift experience to join our team in Bessemer City, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of recent forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. This role supports production by safely moving raw materials, blended products, and packaging components throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials, supplies, and finished goods.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine material requirements.
- Stage raw materials and finished product according to lot numbers and work instructions.
- Observe and report any unsafe conditions or mechanical issues.
- Assist in cleaning kettles, machines, and general production areas as needed.
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move for long periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
