Are you an HR professional with Workday expertise who thrives on solving problems, supporting employees, and navigating complex processes with ease? We’re looking for a hands-on HR Operations Specialist to join a dynamic team in a high-impact, hybrid role based in Philadelphia.
This is not your average HR support role — you’ll be a key player in ensuring seamless HR service delivery across the employee lifecycle. You’ll act as the critical bridge between Tier 1 support and regional HR leadership, handling escalated inquiries and special HR transactions with professionalism, discretion, and a sharp attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex HR transactions and escalations from Tier 1 support
- Act as the first point of contact for specialized HR services and inquiries
- Resolve employee questions across the full hire-to-retire lifecycle using HR tools, policies, and systems
- Leverage Workday to perform transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, IT, Procurement) to drive process improvements
- Help build and maintain internal knowledge bases, process documentation, and training content
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HRBPs to support HR initiatives
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in HR, shared services, or a customer-facing support environment
- Strong hands-on Workday experience required (must be able to process transactions)
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative spirit and proactive mindset
- Experience in HR functional areas like Benefits, Leaves, Payroll, or Employee Relations
- Prior experience with case/knowledge management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Why Join Us?
- Hybrid flexibility: enjoy 3 days in our Philadelphia office, 2 days from home
- A welcoming, inclusive culture where your ideas matter
- Opportunity for full-time hire and long-term career growth
