Client Account Coordinator -
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide quality support to providers, ensuring they understand contractual issues and maintaining provider loyalty.
- Contract Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network contracts to provide accurate customer information that aligns with state guidelines.
- Liaison Role: Act as a daily liaison for panel leasing, managing administration tasks, resolving customer complaints, and addressing claim discrepancies.
- Managed Care System: Proficiency in using the Managed Care imaging system for effective work processing.
- Credentialing: Manage credentialing and re-credentialing processes and report to relevant data banks and boards.
- Provider Recruitment: Assist in recruitment and stay informed on recruitment plans to offer accurate customer updates.
- Network Expansion: Collaborate with Provider Network Representatives to expand the network.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with contacts from assigned files, updating systems as required.
- Fee Negotiation: Assist in fee negotiation processes in collaboration with the Actuarial department.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle complaints from insured members and network providers, educating dental offices as needed and mediating disputes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with state laws regarding PPO contracts and credentialing by working with Compliance and Law departments.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of related experience needed.
- Skills: Ability to develop and interpret provider contracts.
This role requires effective communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills to ensure provider satisfaction and compliance with regulations.
