Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Our client in the industrial distribution sector is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse operations at their Grand Prairie facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and hands-on work in a well-organized, safety-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks

Inspect incoming materials for quality standards
-
Stock and transfer items to designated bins, racks, or bundles by type, size, and other specifications

Label and mark materials accurately
-
Move materials between warehouse and shop for modification
-
Assemble and package customer orders as specified
-
Prepare shipments (UPS, LTL, SHI, or air) with proper documentation
-
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and heavy equipment for loading and movement
-
Use sit-down forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker as needed
-
Input inventory data via scanning or manual entry

Experience with sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Familiarity with inventory systems and shipping preparation

Ability to lift and handle materials safely and accurately
