(Wage will be based on experience)
- Contract Length : ASAP – 12 month contract
- Pay rate $38-$50/hr based on experience

Implement a safe, secure, cost effective, quality mechanical maintenance program including mechanical installations & repairs for the Lethbridge site.
Journeyman card holder, mechanical and/or industrial trade (Millwright).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
Working knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety, and its legislation.
Strong troubleshooting skills with demonstrated pneumatic and mechanical aptitude.
Working experience of Pneumatic instruments and logic.
Workplace Hazardous Material Information System
Welding and machine shop experience and certification (like CWB) will be an asset.
Fork lifter, and Arial Work platforms (like Scissor/boom lift) experience and certification an asset
Strong working ability to interpret blueprints.
Experience with industrial robotics an asset.
Fork lifter, and Arial Work platforms (like Scissor/boom lift) experience and certification an asset
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with vendors and contractors while developing strong relationships.
Proficient use of Microsoft suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, document and maintain all production and facility equipment as per Maintenance Management System to ensure production goals are met.
Organize and prioritize and execute the demand and preventative work requests to meet customer needs.
Execute tasks assigned through SAP and complete the work orders after executing the tasks.
Provide, on a project basis, supervision of outside resources, i.e.: Contractors/trades people.
Coordinate with Maintenance planner to maintain the spare parts inventory by ensuring an accurate inventory of respective equipment/tools is available at all times.
Execute and manage in house projects. Operates metal lathe, machine tools to manufacture replacement parts for equipment.
Review equipment reliability and provide recommendations for improvement or maintenance.
Support main project team and participate in the commissioning activities.
Maintain housekeeping in workshop and in the parts store. Active participation in implementing 5-S program.
Provide support and coordinate with Maintenance planner on day-to-day planning and scheduling tasks.
Support site for off-hour call outs and standby duty on the weekends (rotation basis).
Manage and execute in-house small projects.
