Overview
Become a valuable member of the team as a Clerk I, where you will contribute to the smooth operation of our production unit in Maryland Heights, MO. This role involves preparing outgoing metered mail, ensuring accuracy and quality compliance before they enter production.
Key Responsibilities
- Mail Preparation: Review outgoing metered mail for proper date, postage, and barcode quality.
- Error Management: Identify and communicate errors and faulty barcodes.
- Machine Maintenance: Troubleshoot and remove jams from mail-processing machinery.
- General Duties: Perform additional tasks as required to support production efficiency.
Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Basic understanding of English to comprehend safety and operational instructions.
- Availability: Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, at short notice.
- Dependability: Must be reliable and consistent in performing assigned duties.
- Physical Abilities: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and enduring walking, standing, stooping, and bending for 80% of the work time, with or without accommodations.
Additional Information
This job does not allow remote work; it requires physical presence at the Maryland Heights facility. The need for this role arises from an increase in workload, and it currently remains open under the status of sourcing and screening candidates.
