Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.67per hour

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Clerk? You’ll be:
- Creating current and future shipping manifests
- Picking, packing, verifying, and processing customer orders using various software suites
- Consolidating packages destined for specific customers
- Preparing and processing small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group
- Managing department inventory and performing cycle counting
- Notifying Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses
- Making Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings
- Delivering packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessary
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Have a valid driver’s license (required)
- Bring previous shipping experience and proficiency with shipping software suites (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
- Show attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Exhibit strong customer service skills
- Are team-oriented and open to different schedules when needed
- Have a retail or restaurant background (preferred)
