Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.67per hour

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Clerk? You’ll be:

  • Creating current and future shipping manifests

  • Picking, packing, verifying, and processing customer orders using various software suites

  • Consolidating packages destined for specific customers

  • Preparing and processing small package shipments for personnel outside of the Logistics Group

  • Managing department inventory and performing cycle counting

  • Notifying Customer Care and Key Accounts personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses

  • Making Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings

  • Delivering packages to local customers and to the Eastern Iowa Airport, when necessary

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Have a valid driver’s license (required)

  • Bring previous shipping experience and proficiency with shipping software suites (preferred)

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)

  • Show attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively

  • Exhibit strong customer service skills

  • Are team-oriented and open to different schedules when needed

  • Have a retail or restaurant background (preferred)
